House of Representatives Convenes Session Amid Absences

Tripoli: The House of Representatives convened its session today under the leadership of Speaker Aguila Saleh, with the presence of First Deputy Speaker Fawzi al-Nuwairi and Second Deputy Speaker Misbah Douma. The session was marked by the absence of key figures Hammad, Naji Issa, and Masoud Suleiman, who had all apologized for not attending.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Speaker announced at the session's commencement that the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, the Prime Minister-designate appointed by the House of Representatives, and the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation had all expressed their inability to attend. They requested a postponement of their appearances until the next scheduled session.

The House of Representatives had initially summoned the Governor of the Central Bank, his deputy, members of the bank's board of directors, the Prime Minister-designate, and the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation to be present at the session. The absence of these significant figures was noted as the session proceeded with its agenda.
