Tripoli: The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has initiated the elections for the pharmacists' sub-unions in Tripoli and Misrata. The elections, which began on Monday, are being conducted under the watchful eye of the Department of Elections for Professional Unions, Federations, and Associations. This effort is part of the HNEC's mission to bolster democratic practices and enhance the functioning of professional unions.
According to Libyan News Agency, voting is being held at two primary locations: the HNEC headquarters in Tripoli and the Misrata Elections Department office. The voting process started at 9:00 AM and is set to conclude at 2:00 PM.
The HNEC has assured that the electoral proceedings are being conducted in line with the established administrative and technical guidelines, aiming for a seamless and transparent process. This setup enables members of the general assemblies to cast their votes conveniently.
