Taipei:President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, held a meeting with Haitham Al-Zahhaf, the Minister of Youth in the Government of National Unity, to discuss strategies for supporting and empowering Libyan youth and enhancing their engagement in public life.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting concentrated on developing policies and programs aimed at youth empowerment. This includes creating environments that foster the development of young people's capabilities and potential, which are seen as vital for the country's development, stability, and state-building.
Takala highlighted the significance of youth as a cornerstone for Libya's present and future. He emphasized the necessity of supporting initiatives that develop young people's skills and provide them with more opportunities to participate in public life and decision-making processes.
The Minister of Youth, Haitham Al-Zahhaf, outlined the key programs and projects currently being implemented by the ministry to enhance youth capabilities and broaden their participation opportunities. He also expressed appreciation for Takala's commitment to youth issues.
