Taipei:Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, convened a meeting to discuss the implementation of a proposed unified salary scale for all sectors and state institutions.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was attended by key officials including Minister of Finance Rashid Boughofa, Minister of State for the Affairs of the Prime Minister and Cabinet Mohamed bin Ghalboun, Secretary-General of the Cabinet Adel Zwaiher, and Acting Undersecretary-General of the Ministry of Finance Abubaker Al-Jaffal.
Dbeibah emphasized the importance of establishing social justice and fairness among state employees by creating a unified salary scale. This scale aims to address disparities between sectors and consider the nature of jobs and responsibilities, ensuring a fair distribution of public financial resources.
The meeting also focused on the financial and technical aspects of the proposal, stressing the need for a balanced approach. This approach would improve conditions for workers in various sectors while maintaining the state's financial sustainability, ultimately leading to a more equitable salary system.
