Tripoli: The High Council of State’s Committee for Evaluation and Study of the UN Roadmap convened its fifth meeting in Tripoli to address the matter of electoral laws in alignment with the UN map.
According to Libyan News Agency, committee members focused on examining the electoral laws associated with the UN roadmap, which was introduced by the UN envoy to the Security Council at the end of last August. The committee plans to delve into the remaining issues related to the roadmap in its upcoming meeting.
During a session of the High Council of State on Tuesday, the committee shared its initial recommendations regarding the UN roadmap. A comprehensive final report is expected to be presented during the council’s next session.
