Valletta: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, inspected the progress of work at the Libyan Embassy in Malta on Wednesday. Al-Baour toured the embassy’s facilities and was briefed on the progress within its various departments, particularly consular affairs, and the services it provides to members of the Libyan community residing in Malta, including students, businessmen, and their families.
According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Baour listened to the comments of the embassy staff, expressing his gratitude for the progress of work and wishing them success in carrying out their duties. Al-Baour’s visit to Malta also included talks with the Maltese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ian Borg, where they addressed several pressing issues, notably illegal immigration and joint cooperation in border management.
