Baghdad, The head of the (Absher Ya Iraq) coalition, Sheikh Hammam Hamoudi, confirmed that the coalition starts from Dhi Qar, and our list is not partisan, and our goal is to correct the course of the provincial councils.
Hamoudi announced at a festival hosted by the Martyr’s Monument in Dhi Qar, “The launch of the coalition’s electoral campaign, indicating that the choice of Dhi Qar comes because of its oppression, and because it contributed to the survival of Iraq with its martyrs and the sacrifices of its people, and because the coalition’s goal is to change reality by correcting the course of the provincial councils.”
Sheikh Hamoudi stressed, “The Absher Ya Iraq coalition does not have a slogan, but rather a vision for action. It is not a partisan alliance, but rather a popular list that includes young people, academics, tribes, women, Shiites, Sunnis, and Christians. Through it, we seek to change reality by correcting the course of the provincial councils, away from the quotas and sharing of interests that marred the experience of the councils.” He noted that the coalition is looking forward to councils that operate transparently, whose mission is follow-up and oversight.
He called on the masses to be free in their choice of who represents them and care for their interests, and who is honest and at the same time expert and capable of assessing and defending their interests.
Hamoudi pointed out "the importance of stability in the country's prosperity, citing the extent of the government's achievement in light of the stability it enjoyed in its first year."
He called on "the people of Dhi Qar to take the initiative and form popular, follow-up and supportive teams that bear responsibility, considering this to be the path to change.’’
