Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held a call with Jalil Abbas Jilani, Foreign Minister of Pakistan.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the GCC and Pakistan, and ways to continue developing them in various sectors.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation, and the latest updates on the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations between the GCC and Pakistan.
Albudaiwi affirmed the importance of the FTA in serving mutual economic and trade interests, noting that both sides are looking forward to making progress in the negotiations to conclude the agreement as soon as possible.
