France has renewed its support for the call of the UN envoy, “Abdullah Batili”, regarding the formation of a unified government, with the aim of holding presidential and legislative elections in the country as soon as possible.

This came during a meeting with Will Soler, the special envoy of French President Manuel Macron “Batili” in the capital, Tripoli, today, Wednesday, in the presence of the French ambassador to Libya, “Mustafa Maharaj,” according to a tweet by the French embassy on the “X” Twitter platform previously.

The French President’s special envoy praised the efforts of the “6 + 6” committee to prepare election laws, stressing Paris’ adherence to Libya’s sovereignty, and its support for the mediation efforts made by the UN envoy with all Libyan actors.
