Foreign Ministry Engages with Bosnian Ambassador on Enhancing Bilateral Ties

Tripoli: The Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abu Bakr Ibrahim Al-Tawil, held a meeting with Senad Machovic, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Libya, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli. The discussions focused on strengthening the bilateral relations between Libya and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to Libyan News Agency, both parties underscored the historical significance of the relations between the two countries. They deliberated on the activation of a direct flight line, which is anticipated to facilitate the movement of delegations and encourage official visits. This initiative is expected to play a crucial role in supporting trade, economic, and tourism exchanges.

The meeting also highlighted the necessity of overcoming existing challenges and resolving outstanding issues. The discussions aimed at enhancing joint cooperation, contributing to the advancement of bilateral relations across multiple levels.
