Minister Al-Huwaij Promotes Role of Chambers in Economic Development

Tripoli: Today, Monday, the Minister of Economy and Trade in the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Al-Huwaij, followed up with the Chairman and members of the Zliten Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture Committee on the Management Committee’s vision for developing the Chamber’s work mechanisms. During the meeting, which was published on the Ministry’s official page, Al-Huwaij emphasized the role of chambers of commerce in supporting economic development. He emphasized the need to create effective communication with companies and investors through local and international partnerships to encourage investment in various sectors, in coordination with the Ministry of Economy and Trade and its affiliated entities.

According to Libyan News Agency, at the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Huwaij directed the relevant departments and offices to enhance communication and consultations with chambers of commerce. He urged support for their efforts to enhance the role of the private sector in promoting local industry and create an investment environment that contributes to implementing the Ministry’s vision for economic development.
