Environment Minister Yassmin Fouad has stressed that the ministry currently works on enhancing the participation of the private sector to develop Wadi Degla natural reserve. The minister's remarks came on Thursday 18/1/2024 in her meeting with Botros Samy, chairman of Wadi Degla company, in the presence of respective officials. Fouad pointed out that work is underway to develop the natural reserve in cooperation with investors to create a unique example of ecotourism. The minister lauded investors' keenness to conserve the environment and optimize the use of natural resources. Fouad suggested that the Environment Ministry can cooperate with investors for one year to develop the natural reserve. Source: State Information Service Egypt
