Tripoli: Technical teams from the General Electricity Company have begun investigating the cause of the explosion that occurred near the Zawiya power station, which led to the shutdown of several generating units. Efforts are ongoing to determine the technical circumstances of the incident. According to Libyan News Agency, the company reported in a statement published last night on its official page that work is continuing to gradually restore power, with an anticipation of returning to normal electricity supply shortly. The company affirmed that its technical teams will continue working until the electrical grid is fully stabilized, and apologized to citizens for any power outages or disruptions.
