Tripoli: A preparatory meeting for the Libyan side was held yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Tripoli, as part of the Libyan-Iraqi Joint Committee meetings scheduled to take place in Baghdad.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was chaired by the Director of the Ministry's International Cooperation Department, Ashraf Al-Taeb, and was attended by the Acting Director of the Arab Affairs Department, Najib Al-Rayani, along with representatives from the relevant ministries and sectors participating in the committee meetings.
During the meeting, proposals from the various sectors and draft memoranda of understanding between the two brotherly countries were reviewed. The discussions also covered several issues of common interest, aiming to strengthen the cooperation between Libya and Iraq.
