Children born in September, October, November and December of 2017 will now be accepted for registration at the Education Ministry to be enrolled in the first grade for the academic year of 2023-2024, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, announced.
The minister said that students and their guardians can complete their registration in the Education Ministry Hall in Isa Town during July 20-27, noting that the Ministry will release all necessary details on its social media platforms.
Dr. Juma expressed his gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their support for the educational sector.
He affirmed that the decision of enrolling children in school, who reach the mandatory age of education any time during the school year, shall be a permanently applied policy.
The minister praised the role of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy in supporting developmental projects for the Ministry of Education, thanking Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy and all those supported achieving this step.
