Tripoli: The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency announced on Sunday the deportation of illegal immigrants of Somali nationality for violating the country’s laws.
According to Libyan News Agency, the agency stated that the deportees were residents of the East Tripoli detention center. Their deportation procedures were carried out based on their travel documents, following court orders for their expulsion from Libyan territory due to violations of applicable laws.
The agency confirmed that deportation operations are ongoing according to the established schedule.
