Dbeibah Applauds 4+4 Mini-Dialogue Committee Agreement as Key Step Towards Elections

Tripoli: Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah welcomed the signing of the agreement by the 4+4 Joint Military Commission on Sunday, considering it an important step that strengthens the path toward ending the transitional phases and moving toward elections.

According to Libyan News Agency, in a statement released by the Prime Minister's Media Office, Dbeibah stated, "Our vision has been clear: that the decision rests with the Libyan people, through elections that end the division and grant all institutions their true legitimacy from the will of the citizens, far removed from any arrangements that reproduce the existing phases and bodies."

He further expressed hope that the agreement will serve as a practical step in the right direction, preserving the priority of elections and paving the way for a national milestone that will put Libya on the path to stability and reconstruction.
