Palestinian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ashraf Dabour, received this morning Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa.

Dabour briefed Moussa on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and the ‘barbaric Israeli aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip, violating and ignoring all international and humanitarian laws and international public opinion” and commiting war crimes and genocide by killing innocent children, women and elderly.

“Our Palestinian people, with their unity, steadfastness, and bravery in the face of the Israeli machine of destruction, and their steadfastness on their land, is the model of the greatest and noblest sacrifice in the process of struggle,” Dabour underlined.

In turn, Moussa affirmed the firm position of Egypt, as president, government and people, ‘to support and advocate the rights of our people and their national project for freedom and independence, and its condemnation of the Israeli attacks against civilians in Gaza,’ stressing the Egyptian and Arab posi
tion in rejecting the displacement of Palestinians from their land.

Moussa stressed “the responsibility of the international community to shoulder its duties in order to stop the collective punishment practiced by Israel against the Palestinian people.”

He also emphasized “the necessity of a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and to support the Strip with humanitarian aid in an adequate and sustainable manner.”
