Dabaiba Affirms Rejection of New Transitional Phases in Meeting with UN Representative


Tripoli: Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, held a meeting with Hanna Tetteh, the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) and Special Representative of the Secretary-General, to discuss the latest developments regarding the political roadmap and the electoral process.



According to Libyan News Agency, the government’s media outlet reported that Dabaiba emphasized during the meeting that the Government of National Unity is committed to avoiding any new transitional phases. Instead, the focus is on moving directly to elections based on a legal framework agreed upon and supported by the Libyan people.
