Tripoli: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, emphasized the urgent need to adopt an integrated electronic financial system. This initiative aims to enhance transparency, unify financial databases, and implement best oversight practices to improve efficiency in public spending.

According to Libyan News Agency, Dabaiba’s remarks were made during a meeting with the Minister of Finance and the two Undersecretaries of the Ministry. The meeting focused on public financial arrangements, particularly ensuring the regular and timely disbursement of salaries.

Dabaiba highlighted the necessity for a comprehensive review of current disbursement policies. He stressed the importance of fair and effective resource distribution according to the actual needs of public entities, while avoiding any excess allocations that could be misused outside of established frameworks.
