Tripoli: The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida, has approved a package of administrative decisions that include job settlements and bonuses for a total of 435 employees within the ministry’s headquarters and regional labor offices.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation announced that these decisions were made following the completion of files by the technical committee responsible for settlements and promotions. This initiative is part of the ministry’s plan for the first quarter of 2025 and aims to rectify the administrative and financial standings of employees, promoting job stability and ensuring that employees receive their due rights as per approved regulations.
The approved package encompasses financial settlements, job promotions, and the acknowledgment of previous service periods. Additionally, it includes transfer and secondment decisions for employees who meet the eligibility criteria. The Labor Office Follow-up Department is tasked with disseminating these decisions to the relevant authorities for execution.
The Ministry emphasized that this initiative is in line with its strategy to enhance employee conditions, uphold administrative justice, and ensure equal opportunities. This is expected to motivate talent and improve overall performance in the labor and rehabilitation sector.
It is noteworthy that during 2024, the Ministry successfully settled the status of over 3,600 employees, as part of a broader plan to streamline the administrative and functional structure.
