British Delegation Evaluates Progress at Jalyana Free Zone

Jalyana: A British delegation recently visited the Jalyana Free Zone to assess its capabilities, resources, and the services it provides to support trade and investment. The visit aimed to explore potential avenues for strengthening economic and investment cooperation between the United Kingdom and Jalyana.

According to Libyan News Agency, the delegation included notable figures such as Daniel Kawczynski, Chairman of the Libyan-British Development Association; Mark Field, former Minister of State for Asia and the Pacific; Tristan Binston Baird, an expert in strategic communications and public affairs; Peter Meyer, Chairman of the Middle East Society in the UK; and Femi Pillay, a businessman specializing in British-African relations. The group engaged with Ahmed Al-Amami, Director General of the Jalyana Free Zone, to discuss development strategies and review the latest advancements within the zone.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on recent developments within the Jalyana Free Zone, which included infrastructure upgrades and enhanced port facilities. The visit also featured a screening of a documentary highlighting the free zone's capabilities and its role in supporting trade and investment.
