Beirut Indictment Chamber Decides to Release Former Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh on $20 Million Bail

Beirut: The Beirut indictment chamber, chaired by Judge Nassib Elia, decided to release former Central Bank Governor, Riad Salameh, on bail of $20 million and LBP five billion. Salameh has not yet been released pending payment of bail.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the decision also banned Salameh from traveling for a year, as part of the ongoing legal proceedings against him.
