Berri Broaches Latest Developments in Lebanon, Region with U.S. Delegation

Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri, on Tuesday, welcomed a high-level U.S. congressional delegation at the second presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. The delegation included Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Lindsey Graham, US Congressman Joe Wilson, U.S. Presidential Envoy to Lebanon and Syria, Ambassador Tom Barrack, and Deputy Special Presidential Envoy to the Middle East Morgan Ortagus. Also present were U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Lisa Johnson and Speaker Berri’s Media Advisor Ali Hamdan.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the discussions focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and the broader region. The meeting highlighted ongoing issues and potential areas of cooperation between the U.S. and Lebanon. The presence of high-ranking officials underscored the importance of the dialogue in addressing regional challenges.
