Tripoli, – The UN envoy to Libya, “Abdullaye Batilly,” has called on the Libyan leaders to put an end to the transitional stages and move towards preparing for the elections, in order to make 2023 a year of peace and stability in Libya.
In a publication published by the UN mission on Tuesday evening, Batilly urged all parties in Libya to listen to the call of their people, stressing that Libyan youth, men and women, no longer need Kalashnikov rifles, but rather need schools, modern technology and real economic opportunities.
