Tripoli: The Bangladeshi charg© d’affaires in Libya inspected the conditions of his country’s illegal immigrants at a shelter center east of Tripoli. The Charg© d’Affaires of the Bangladeshi Embassy in Libya, Qazi Asif Ahmed, and his accompanying delegation visited the illegal migrant detention center east of Tripoli today to inquire about the conditions of Bangladeshi migrants.
According to Libyan News Agency, during his visit, accompanied by the center’s director, Brigadier General Nooruddin Al-Quraitli, the Charg© d’Affaires met with the migrants and informed them that all arrangements for their repatriation were underway in continuous cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities.
The Bangladeshi delegation commended the center’s administration for its efforts in providing shelter, living conditions, and food to all the migrants, as well as facilitating all procedures for their repatriation.
