His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, participated in the ninth meeting of the GCC Labour Ministries Undersecretaries that was held virtually.
The meeting is set to precede the upcoming meeting of the Committee of GCC Labour Ministers scheduled on September 19-20 in Oman.
The meeting reviewed the joint GCC workforce action strategy, which aims to promote GCC labour markets and human resources, exchange expertise, and strengthen cooperation between GCC states and specialized international organisations.
The meeting also discussed a proposal for the agenda of the tenth meeting of the Committee of Labour Ministers in the GCC states and its draft decisions in preparation for submitting them to the Committee of Ministers.
