Bahrain, EU discuss cultural cooperation

Manama, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), received Christophe Varno, European Union (EU) Ambassador-designate to Bahrain, residing in Riyadh. The meeting discussed means to organise joint cultural events and underscored the importance of exchanging expertise in the culture and heritage sectors. For his part, Varno commended BACA's efforts in promoting Bahraini culture and preserving its heritage. He underscored the EU's commitment to supporting cultural initiatives and promoting dialogue.
