Tripoli, The Austrian Company (OMV) announced the resumption of its exploratory drilling activities in the blocks granted to it in Libya next February.
The National Oil Corporation (NOC) stated on its Facebook page that this came during a technical meeting of the NOC’s Exploration Department with the Austrian company, which was held at the corporation’s headquarters in Tripoli in the presence of a number of officials and specialists from both sides.
The NOC added that the meeting discussed the work carried out by the company this year and reviewed work programs to be implemented next year, especially after the company lifted the state of force majeure last September.
