AUBH, MOI discuss cooperation

Colonel Ammar Mustafa Jaafar Al Sayed, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, met with Bradley J. Cook, President of University of Bahrain (AUBH).

The meeting discussed cooperation to develop community programmes that target all citizens and residents to ensure a safe environment, compliant with sustainable and competitive standards.

Al Sayed affirmed that the community police are working to implement best practices to improve the security system and to utilise technology and modern techniques to develop administrative, police and community work, as well as to activate community partnerships in accordance with the instructions of Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, with various civil society organisations to implement crime prevention programmes.

He presented six books published by Community Service Police to the university library, to serve as references and sources for students’ research.

AUBH President thanked the Assistant Chief for his support, wishing to develop further cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and contribute to prevent and reduce crime rate.
