An invitation from Al-Sudani was delivered to the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to participate in the work of the Baghdad Conference for Economic Integration and Regional Stability

The Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Muhammad Samir Al-Naqshbandi, today, Thursday, handed over the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, the invitation letter sent by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to participate in the work of the Baghdad 2023 Conference for Economic Integration and Regional Stability, which will be held in the city of Baghdad on 30/11/2023.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that, in another aspect of the meeting, the two sides discussed the developments of the attacks launched by the Zionist-Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the seriousness of their repercussions on the region, and stressed the necessity of joint coordination within the framework of the organization to stop these attacks as quickly as possible. A number of topics that serve the purpose of Common interests between the two sides were discussed.
