Tripoli- The countries of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States expressed their appreciation for what they considered the commitment of the National Oil Corporation to improve financial transparency, warning against actions that undermine the National Oil Corporation, in line with multiple UN Security Council resolutions.
The embassies of these countries, in a joint statement published on the official website of the US Embassy in Libya, urged all Libyan actors to respect unity, integrity, and independence, and to preserve the non-political and technical nature of the Tripoli-based National Oil Corporation, so the non-interruption of its operations benefits all Libyans.
The joint statement stressed the need to avoid such actions that may pose a threat to the peace, security and stability of Libya.
