Tripoli: Yesterday, Sunday, the representative of the United States Agency for International Development in Libya, John Cardenas, toured the High National Elections Commission.
The US embassy said in a post on its account on the X website that Cardenas met during this tour, which comes with the approaching municipal elections in Libya, with the head of the commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, to discuss the best ways for the United States to support efforts aimed at holding fair and transparent elections.
They also spoke about comprehensive community engagement, women’s participation, and opportunities for continued Libyan-American partnership.

Internal Security Forces (ISF) chief, General Imad Othman, on Monday received in his office, MP Simon Abi Ramia, who came on a visit during which they discussed the general situation in the country.
