Al-Namroush and Chinese Ambassador Discuss Military Cooperation Prospects

Tripoli: The Chief of the General Staff of the Army, General Salah al-Din al-Namroush, met today with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Libya, Ma Xuiliang, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting, held in Tripoli, addressed the development of cooperation in the fields of training, qualification, and the exchange of military expertise, aiming to bolster capabilities and open new avenues for cooperation between the two sides.

The two parties also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and ways to enhance coordination regarding them, in a manner that serves mutual interests and supports efforts to consolidate security and stability.

The meeting underscored the importance of continued cooperation and coordination between Libya and the People's Republic of China to strengthen bilateral relations and open broader areas for joint cooperation.
