Tripoli: The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, met today in Tripoli with the French Ambassador to Libya, Thierry Vallat, to discuss the latest political developments in Libya.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting addressed the current political situation in Libya, reviewing the Presidential Council's vision and the tripartite initiative aimed at advancing the political process through direct Libyan dialogue. This dialogue seeks to achieve a sustainable national consensus that transcends temporary solutions and limited understandings, consolidates the unity of the state and its institutions, and paves the way for a comprehensive electoral process that guarantees the participation of all Libyans.
The meeting also addressed the issue of unifying the military institution and the efforts led by the Head of the Presidential Council to achieve this national imperative, thereby strengthening stability and supporting the state-building process.
