Davos: The President of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Manfi, engaged in discussions with Jurgen Rigterink, Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, regarding potential cooperation opportunities in Libya. The meeting took place in Davos, Switzerland, on the sidelines of the 2025 World Economic Forum.
According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions focused on leveraging the European Bank’s expertise for Libya’s reconstruction and capacity building in development. The bank has a presence in various African, European, and Asian countries, which could be beneficial for Libya’s development initiatives.
Both parties agreed on a plan for a technical mission to visit Libya. This mission will assess opportunities for collaboration in supporting Libyan sectors with reconstruction and development projects.
