Tripoli: Presidential Council Member Abdullah Al-Lafi engaged in discussions with Qatari Ambassador to Libya, Khaled Al-Dosari, focusing on the latest political developments in Libya. This meeting took into consideration the outcomes of recent international and regional gatherings, including the Berlin meeting and deliberations of the advisory committee related to the political track.
According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Lafi acknowledged Qatar’s constructive role in supporting Libya’s stability. He appreciated Qatar’s efforts in addressing the political deadlock and its commitment to fostering a genuine national consensus aimed at revitalizing the political process on stable and realistic grounds.
The Qatari Ambassador affirmed his country’s unwavering support for the Presidential Council’s initiatives on national reconciliation. He emphasized Qatar’s readiness to actively contribute to creating an environment conducive to achieving significant advancements in this area, which is essential for establishing a stable and unified state.
