Tripoli: Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba received Mahmoud Al-Futaisi, Director General of the National Council for Economic and Social Development, on Sunday, following the latter’s return from a government delegation visit to the United States. Al-Futaisi briefed the Prime Minister on the results of the visit and the meetings the delegation held with American institutions, Congress, the World Bank, and several think tanks and companies, all aimed at strengthening economic and development cooperation between the two countries.
According to Libyan News Agency, Dabaiba also discussed the latest developments regarding the US travel restrictions on Libyan citizens and the joint steps the government is taking with the US to address this issue.
