Al-Dabaiba participates in the Voluntary Efforts Agency’s celebration of the International Volunteer Day

Tripoli- The Head of the Government of National Unity, “Abdul Hamid al-Dabiba,” participated in the Volunteer Efforts Agency’s celebration of the International Volunteer Day, which was held at the Cultural Center in the municipality of Garabulli.

The young men and women participating in the celebration expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister for his attendance and participation in their international day.

In his speech during the celebration, Al-Dabaiba praised the efforts of the Ministry of Youth in organizing the sector, and setting up a calendar of multiple and effective activities. The Prime Minister decided that the 12/12 of each year would be a national day for volunteering in Libya, and to support the agency with funds to complete the programs and activities it launched.

At the end of the ceremony, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Agency for Voluntary Efforts and its counterparts in Tunisia, Mauritania and Algeria.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Youth, Fathallah Al-Zani, the Director of the Voluntary Efforts Agency, “Mohamed Zayed” and the Mayor of the Garabulli Municipality, Mohammed Ballout.
