Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, has reiterated the Government of National Unity’s dedication to bolstering the partnership between Libya and Russia, aiming to serve mutual interests and support development efforts while consolidating stability in the region.
According to Libyan News Agency, this affirmation was made during a meeting between Al-Baour and the Russian Ambassador to Libya, Haydar Aganin, held on Tuesday at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that the discussions focused on developing bilateral cooperation and expanding areas of partnership between the two nations. The meeting also addressed prospects for political and economic collaboration and reviewed the latest developments in Libya.
Both parties underscored the significance of maintaining bilateral consultations and enhancing joint coordination to align with regional and international developments.
