Nigerian Migrants Deported from Tripoli Shelter Under Court Orders

Tripoli: A group of Nigerian migrants has been deported from a detention center located in the eastern part of Tripoli. The deportation was executed by the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency on Tuesday.

According to Libyan News Agency, the deportation process was conducted in the presence of representatives from the Nigerian Embassy in Libya. The agency stated that the action was based on the migrants’ travel documents and aligned with court orders mandating their removal from Libyan territory due to violations of applicable laws.

The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency has affirmed that deportation operations will persist as per the existing schedule.
