Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, received the Maltese Ambassador to Libya, Charles Saliba, on Wednesday, marking the conclusion of Saliba’s diplomatic mission in the country.
According to Libyan News Agency, during the meeting, Al-Baour conveyed his gratitude for Ambassador Saliba’s efforts in fostering the bilateral relations between Libya and Malta. Al-Baour extended his best wishes to Saliba for his future endeavors.
Ambassador Saliba, in return, expressed his gratitude to the Government of National Unity and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the support and collaboration offered during his service in Libya. He emphasized the longstanding historical relations between Libya and Malta and assured his country’s commitment to ongoing collaboration in various sectors.
