A young man in his twenties killed by gunmen north of Mosul

A young man was killed the day before his wedding after a quarrel with a bakery owner as part of preparations for his wedding day north of Mosul.’

A source in the Nineveh Police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that ‘a young man born in 2001 was killed after a quarrel with a bakery owner in Al-Qawsiyat area, north of Mosul.’

The source added that “the young man” was killed the day before his wedding when he went to the bakery to buy bread as part of the preparations for the wedding day, but a dispute between them developed into a quarrel, which led to him being killed by being stabbed with a knife in the flank area.

The source added that the quarrel also developed when the groom’s relatives came and stabbed the oven owner.
