Rome, U.S Charge D’affairs in Italy Thomas Smitham said withdrawal of mercenaries and foreign fighters as well as elections were essential to Libya’s future.
This came in an interview the Italian national broadcast network “Ray News 24” made with Smitham in which he talked about the main foreign policy priorities of the United States, including cooperation between his country, Italy and the Mediterranean countries in confronting Russian escalation in Ukraine, and the situation in Libya
