UNSMIL Invites Gharyan Youth to Engage in Libya’s Political Dialogue

Gharyan: UNSMIL has extended an invitation to the youth of Gharyan and nearby cities to engage in an upcoming political dialogue focused on Libya’s future. The event is scheduled for next Thursday at the Gharyan Municipality headquarters as part of the “Youth Engage” program, which is designed to include young people in the political process.

According to Libyan News Agency, UNSMIL announced on its official page that the session will last one and a half hours and is part of ongoing political consultations. These consultations aim to enhance youth participation in Libya’s political solution process through both in-person and virtual meetings.

The session will provide a platform for participants to express their views on the political process in Libya, discuss recommendations from the Advisory Committee, and share their aspirations and concerns regarding the country’s political future.

UNSMIL has specified the target age group for this initiative as individuals aged 18 to 35. Interested participants are e
ncouraged to register via an online form.
