Tunis: UNSMIL organized a workshop in which representatives of the 5+5 Joint Military Committee and its subcommittees participated over the past two days in Tunisia, with the aim of strengthening the coordination mechanism for the ceasefire agreement. According to Libyan News Agency, the participants reviewed the progress made and challenges facing the full implementation of the agreement. They also discussed the joint action plan for the departure of mercenaries, foreign fighters, and foreign forces from Libya, as well as the ongoing demining efforts and addressing remnants of war. All participants reaffirmed their absolute commitment to the ceasefire agreement in support of the security and stability of Libya and its people.
