Tripoli: The Advisory Committee, formed by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), has wrapped up its fifth meeting, which spanned three days in Tripoli. The meeting focused on discussing contentious issues related to the electoral framework in Libya.
According to Libyan News Agency, the UN Mission announced on its official page that the Committee’s discussions centered around the essential aspects needed to create a conducive environment for holding elections. The Committee’s primary task was to review the current electoral framework in Libya and propose solutions to overcome obstacles hindering the effective implementation of the elections.
