Tripoli: The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency has announced the deportation of illegal Nigerian immigrants from Libya. This action was carried out on Tuesday as part of the country’s ongoing efforts to manage illegal immigration.

According to Libyan News Agency, the deportation process was conducted by the agency’s deportation office at Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli. The office confirmed that the deportation occurred after the necessary procedures were completed on the immigrants’ travel documents due to their violation of Libyan laws.

The office did not disclose the exact number of individuals deported but emphasized that the deportation of illegal immigrants is an ongoing process. This measure underscores Libya’s commitment to enforcing its immigration laws and maintaining order within its borders.
