United States Reaffirms Support for Libya’s Energy and Economic Growth

Tripoli: The United States has renewed its commitment to supporting Libya in its efforts to create a unified and prosperous future. This was emphasized during a recent address by the US Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs, Massad Boulos, at the Libya Energy and Economic Summit held in Tripoli.

According to Libyan News Agency, Boulos highlighted the United States' dedication to enhancing its bilateral partnership with Libya, particularly focusing on the energy and economic sectors. In a tweet following his summit address, Boulos expressed his honor in participating and noted significant agreements involving ConocoPhillips and Chevron to boost the longstanding partnership in the energy sector.

The senior advisor also acknowledged the participation of several American companies at the summit, viewing it as a sign of the growing US interest in strengthening economic ties with Libya. He extended gratitude to Libyan officials who support the bilateral energy partnership and praised their commitment to advancing Libya's potential.

Boulos concluded his statement by reiterating the United States' ongoing support for Libya's endeavors to establish a unified and prosperous future that benefits all Libyans.
