Berndt: The unified development program agreement between the House of Representatives and the State strengthens the vital role of the Central Bank of Libya. The Charg© d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Berndt, announced that the embassy joins President Trump’s Senior Advisor for Africa, Massad Boulos, in welcoming the signing of the Unified Development Program Agreement between the House of Representatives and the State Council on Tuesday in Tripoli.
According to Libyan News Agency, in a tweet posted by the US Embassy on its Twitter account, Berndt described the agreement as an important step towards stability, prosperity, and unity in Libya, and for strengthening the vital role of the Central Bank of Libya.
